PURCHASE ORDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
FOR ALL SUPPLIERS
By accepting this Purchase Order (PO) the supplier agrees to all terms and conditions listed here.
- All applicable certificates to be sent with each shipment.
- Supplier acknowledges Meteor’s right of access to its facilities, product, and/or related quality records at any time, by Meteor, its customer, or regulatory authorities in order to verify quality of products or work. Right of access may be limited to only those records and product applicable to Meteor’s products or contracts.
- All purchasing requirements shall be flown down to sub-tier suppliers or subcontractors.
- Supplier to notify Meteor immediately of unexpected anomalies, non-conformances, changes in product and/or process, changes of suppliers, and/or changes of manufacturing facility location, changes to delivery dates other than agreed too.
- Meteor Foundry reserves the right to approve such changes or incidents before work is allowed to proceed.
- Supplier acknowledges that it shall apply suitable corrective action when presented with Meteor complaints or non-conformance reports.
- Records pertaining to the manufacture, inspection and test of Meteor’s products shall be retained.

FOR SUPPLIERS CERTIFIED TO AS9100
By accepting this Purchase Order (PO) the supplier agrees to all terms and conditions listed here.
- All applicable certificates to be sent with each shipment. The original / applicable PO number must appear on the shipping documents. All notices and other communications between Supplier and Meteor Foundry hereunder shall be in writing or in e-mails.
- Supplier warrants that all materials, products or services furnished under this PO shall be free from any defects in workmanship, material and design; conformed to applicable specifications, technical standards, drawings and approved by Meteor Foundry.
- Supplier warrants that it shall furnish the products and perform the services as per PO required date using personnel of required skill, experience, and qualifications and in a professional and workmanlike manner in accordance with or higher than the generally recognized industry standards.
- Supplier acknowledges that it shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, and orders. Supplier shall implement or maintain in effect all of the licenses, permissions, authorizations, including AS9100 certification when it needs to carry out its obligations under the PO. Supplier further warrants that it will provide Meteor Foundry with all required information and documentation related to the subject matter of this Section.
- The Supplier shall ensure that all standard parts, specified items, special processes and test methods used for the manufacturing of aeronautical items are purchased from approved and qualified sources.
- All terms and conditions of this PO shall apply to Supplier’s persons and Supplier shall be liable and responsible for all acts and omissions of any of the Personnel ensuring that they are aware of their contribution to product conformity and safety. Meteor Foundry is committed to conducting its business fairly, impartially, and in an ethical and proper manner. The expectation is that the Supplier also conducts its business the same way.
- Supplier performance will be evaluated for Quality and On time Delivery. Corrective action may be applied for poor performance.
- Supplier acknowledges Meteor’s right of access to its facilities for verification activities, audits, product and related quality records, by Meteor, its customer, or regulatory authorities in order to verify quality of products or work. Right of access may be limited to only those records and product applicable to Meteor’s products or services.
- All applicable purchasing requirements, including key characteristics where required, shall be flown down to sub-tier suppliers or subcontractors.
- Supplier to notify Meteor Foundry immediately of unexpected anomalies, non-conformances, counterfeited products, changes in product and/or process, changes of suppliers, and/or changes of manufacturing facility location, changes to delivery dates other than agreed too. Meteor Foundry reserves the right to approve such changes or incidents before work is allowed to proceed.
- Meteor Foundry has the right to inspect the goods, result of services or production process rendered before on or after the Delivery Date. Meteor Foundry, at its sole discretion, may inspect all or a portion of the goods or services, require test specimens for design approval, verification or auditing, establish special requirements and may reject all or any portion of the goods or services if it determines that the goods or services are nonconforming or defective.
- Supplier acknowledges that it shall apply suitable corrective actions including statistical techniques and related instructions for acceptance when presented with Meteor Foundry complaints or nonconformance reports.
- Records pertaining to the manufacture, inspection and test of Meteor’s products shall be retained.
- Supplier shall comply with the Aerospace Industries Association of America (AIA) Global Principles of Ethics in the Aerospace & Defense Industry.
